Anti-glare screens reduce the reflection caused by direct sunlight, so that users can always see the screen clearly without feeling dizzy due to reflection problems. Generally speaking, anti-glare screens are a process applied to the outermost polarizer (polarizing film) of LCD. There is also an anti-glare screen (glass) also known as "AG glass". The general principle is to use chemical solutions such as hydrofluoric acid to perform a special processing on the glass surface, so that the original reflective surface of the glass becomes an uneven matte non-reflective surface, thereby obtaining a lower reflectivity (the reflectivity is reduced from 8% of ordinary glass to 1%).

Advantages of anti-glare display:

1. Reduce glare and reflection: Anti-glare coating can effectively reduce the reflection of ambient light on the screen, so that the display is still clearly visible under strong light or direct sunlight.

2. Protect eyes: Reducing glare means that the eyes do not need to adjust the focus frequently or over-fatigue, thereby reducing eye fatigue and discomfort, especially when using the display for a long time.

3. Improve readability: Anti-glare coating can enhance the contrast of text and images on the screen, making them clearer and easier to read under different lighting conditions.

4. Reduce fingerprints and smudges: Anti-glare screens usually also have certain anti-fingerprint functions, which can reduce the appearance of fingerprints and smudges and keep the screen clean.

5. Better privacy protection: Some anti-glare coatings can also reduce the viewing angle of bystanders to a certain extent, making the screen content more difficult to be seen by others at a certain angle, and improving privacy.

These advantages make anti-glare displays particularly suitable for use outdoors, in office environments or places with complex lighting.
